Systems for Partners

We recognize partners of the same gender and common-law partners as equivalent to spouses. Consequently, employees with such partners are included in the scope of leave and benefit systems designed for married employees.

Making Long-Term Nursing Care and Medical Treatment Compatible with Work

We offer support to employees who are balancing work responsibilities with caring for a family member or undergoing medical treatment. This support includes flexible work arrangements such as flextime and telecommuting, as well as various leave options such as reduced working hours and fewer working days per week. Moreover, we provide managers with specialized training to enhance their understanding of the needs of these employees. Additionally, we facilitate opportunities for employees to connect, share experiences, and offer mutual support.

Making Childcare Compatible with Work

Employees raising children can choose to work shorter hours or fewer days per week in order to care for their children until the end of the first March after the child completes sixth-grade at elementary school. The period can be also extended as necessary even after the child starts junior high school.

Other Measures Implemented to Support Employees Raising Children

Taking children on business trips Eligible employees are allowed to take their children with them on business trips within Japan.
Support for finding a place at a nursery school
  • We introduced a nursery school matching service and a “concierge” service to help employees find suitable nursery facilities and have a smooth return to work.
  • Particularly in Tokyo, where there are long waiting lists for available places spots, the MCG Group has formed partnerships with nursery facilities to provide places to for eligible employees.
