In recent years, security export control has become increasingly important as the international situation has grown more complex. Given this, to continue to maintain the trust of the international community, companies are required to play a part in supporting the security of the international community by thoroughly and appropriately implementing security export controls in accordance with the laws and regulations of each country.
Approach and Policy
Based on the Mitsubishi Chemical Group Export Control Global Policy below, we strive to ensure thorough security export controls by complying not only with the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act of Japan but also with similar laws of various countries, including the United States' export-related laws.
MCG Group Export Control Global Policy
- We shall recognize, confirm, and study that there are various risks involved in transactions, and shall not engage in transactions that threaten the maintenance of international peace and security.
- We shall comply with and implement laws, regulations, agreements, etc. that are applied to the countries/regions where we are located, where we do business, and those outside of those countries/regions, to facilitate international transactions.
- We shall establish structures and procedures to ensure the reliable execution of our business and thoroughly comply with export-related laws and regulations.

Under the MCG Export Control Global Policy, Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC) reaffirms the importance of complying with laws and regulations. To enhance the effectiveness of its security export controls, MCC is building an export control system, providing in-house education and training, and implementing measures to prevent violations of laws and regulations.
