Nichigo G-Polymer™ is a new vinyl alcohol resin that is unparalleled throughout the world (butandiol vinyl alcohol co-polymer resin [BVOH]). The resin can be used to freely control crystallinity and the cohesive power of the non-crystalline part. It is being increasingly used in various applications as an environmentally friendly water soluble resin that achieves high gas barrier performance, formability, and biodegradability in addition to outstanding transparency and solvent resistance.

The GOHSENO™ EG-P series is a purified polyvinyl alcohol. It can be used for binders, coating agents, thickeners (for ophthalmic/nasal solutions), gel patches, emulsifiers, OD film substrates, etc. We have continued to develop various applications.

Soarnol™ is an ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer resin that is widely used as a gas barrier material mainly for food packaging because of its excellent gas barrier properties, solvent resistance, and transparency. In addition, we have developed special grades (for stretching, thermoforming, boil-retort, flex fatigue resistance, etc.) with improvements for specific applications to meet market needs.

Soaresin™ is a special resin developed to cover the customer’s needs for the satisfactory use of Soarnol™ . Specifically, the lineup includes compatibilizers for recycling packages with Soarnol™ and purging resin for extruding Soarnol™.
