Chemicals Management
At the 5th session of the International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM5, held in September 2023) with the goal of the UN Agenda 2030, GFC*1 was adopted as an international framework for the proper management of chemicals and waste.
GFC aims to ensure chemical safety through the sound chemicals management throughout their life cycle and at the same time achieve economic growth.
As a member of the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA*2), the Mitsubishi Chemical Group is working to strengthen product risk assessments throughout the life cycle with an awareness of GFC for product stewardship.
We are aiming not only to resolve environmental and social issues as a chemicals manufacturer but also to contribute toward the sustainable development of people, society and the Planet, in order to realize KAITEKI.
