Selected for the CDP Climate Change 2025 A List for the First Time

Mitsubishi Chemical Group Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Manabu Chikumoto; hereinafter “the Company”) has been selected for the first time for the A List—the highest rating—under CDP Climate Change 2025, an internationally recognized environmental information disclosure program.
 
■About CDP
CDP is a non-profit organization that evaluates and encourages climate change initiatives and information disclosure by companies and local governments worldwide, with the aim of realizing a sustainable global economy. CDP’s disclosure platform is used by institutional investors, business partners, and policy makers as a key resource for decision-making.
 
■Significance of the A List Selection
CDP Climate Change 2025 is one of CDP’s evaluation programs assessing the comprehensiveness of climate-related disclosures, the degree of understanding of environmental risks, and the ambition and progress of corporate targets and actions.
Being selected for the A List in this program places the Company among the top 4% of evaluated companies globally.
This recognition reflects the high evaluation of the Company’s contributions to climate change mitigation through its products and services, its initiatives toward achieving carbon neutrality, and its commitment to transparency in information disclosure—efforts aligned with our Purpose:
