Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings Corporation (MCHC) Managing Corporate Executive Officer Larry Meixner served as lead panelist at a major event focused on gender equality at the recent World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. This was the 6th annual “When Women Thrive” breakfast at Davos sponsored by Mercer, a U.S.-based human resources consulting firm and the world’s largest global asset manager.

Larry introduced the diversity measures of MCHC and Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC), such as promoting the active participation of women and the “Mitsubishi Chemical Has Decided” initiatives. While outlining Japan’s cultural and social background, he emphasized the importance of Japanese companies pursuing gender equality and transforming from the inside out. Larry strongly expressed the commitment of MCHC and MCC to demonstrate leadership on gender equality issues within Japan. This was the first time a Japanese company had participated as a panelist in the “When Women Thrive” series at Davos.
